In-Person Meeting!

Hello Hello All,

Thanks for all the feedback I received from my last newsletter, “The Big Apples.” I want to share more of the trajectory and story behind some of the places & threads I mentioned. One thing I’ve noticed about myself, I’m really, really good at noticing issues, patterns, and calling out what’s not working. That lens came through pretty strongly in the last newsletter.

But another important role is asking: What’s next? What are the healthier alternatives to what we’re currently seeing? Since that last send, I’ve been introduced to conversations and folks around those more healthy stories, and I’ll be sharing more on that soon.

For now, I want to quickly pass along an invite to a wonderful in-person gathering happening here in Kingston, NY.

The Hudson Valley Alliance for Housing and Conservation is hosting another event in Ulster County, this time spotlighting some of the powerful work the Kingston Land Trust has been doing and their land in black hands program

I’ve sent this to a few of you already, but it felt right to share more broadly. I haven’t hosted anything myself in a while, the energy hasn’t quite flowed that way, but I’m so grateful this event is happening. It feels like a much-needed chance to gather around a hopeful narrative, right here in our own backyard.
